At the AGM in Sheffield on the 2nd July 2005; AIMS members discussed the NHS Community midwife Model and the One Mother One Midwife Campaign. The members voted unanimously to support unconditionally this model and the campaign.
The Independent Midwives Association have proposed a radical change to the way midwives could work within the NHS. One Mother, One midwife is a campaign to make this a reality.
