On April 9, the NHS published a 'Clinical guide for the temporary reorganisation of intrapartum maternity care during the coronavirus pandemic'. AIMS welcomes this national guide, addressed to all local Trusts providing maternity services, and we hope that it will help to resolve some of the issues that we know, from our helpline work, are being encountered. AIMS looks forward to further updates of this Guide, drawing on comments from a wider group of stakeholders. On that basis, we have submitted our comments on this first version of the guide.
We hope that this page is of interest, especially to our colleagues in the maternity services improvement community.
The AIMS Campaigns Team relies on Volunteers to carry out its work. If you would like to collaborate with us, are looking for further information about our work, or would like to join our team, please email campaigns@aims.org.uk.
